Any predictions on 2006 Comeback Player of the Year?
For selfish reasons I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping it's Adrian Beltre.
I need him to help my BBBL team! I thought he had finally turned the corner after that MVP-caliber year in Los Angeles in 2004. But then he tanked with the Mariners in '05.

I'll take Mike Lowell in the American League and Edgar Renteria in the National League.

I will go out on a limb and say Sammy Sosa, who will sign with the Cubs on a "feel good" contract and pop 43 homers. I will also predict that Kerry Wood will get sick of the injuries and develop a knuckleball that will allow him to pitch until he is 48. American League....Frank Thomas, although forced to wear green and yellow, he will pop 30+ homers with a good average and show his former form. A.L. pitcher, I have to go with Ted Lilly. He really can't be that bad again, can he?

I hate to say it,cause I hate the White Sox, but Jim Thome. If is back will hold up at all I think he will have a monster year with the protection around him.
LILLY? He is worthless. Some guys have no guts to pitch in tough situations and he is one. I saw him pitch a game with New York and he got ruffed up a little bit in the first and then you could just tell he quit. The next three batters he just layed a bad fastball right down the pipe and was out of the game in the second inning. He is a quiter!

Jim Thome is a good pick. He should hit 40 homers and drive in about 120 RBI.
How about Oliver Perez? That guy has some nasty stuff.

Good call on Ollie. He was the big hot prospect a couple of years ago and put up good numbers. Last year he just dropped off with his ERA in the mid/upper 4's. His stuff is just to good for that. I remember when he was in San Diego that they thought he would be better than Peavy.

How about Jim Thome!!! Had a great spring and hit a big HR on Opening Day!
Plus, he has good protection in that ChiSox line-up.
