I vote YES but with these guidelines: 1) All trade agreements must be officially documented in a Press Release. This Press Release would serve as a written contract. 2) Following the World Series, all pending trades (involving draft picks) should be processed. A vacant team should NOT be released to the public until AFTER all pending trades have been processed. In other words, when a vacant team goes up for sale, the new owning should be fully aware of what he is buying. If he buys a team in which the previous owner traded away their 1st round draft pick... the new owner should be made aware of that BEFORE he buys the team. This should solve all the problems. Any comments, ideas...

;D
We have to be careful not to extend past one year, unless someone REALLY wants my 4th round pick from 2083. I don't trade a whole lot of future picks, but I can deal with this rule. Plus it will be fun to get the advance payments going so we know who is in and out of the league earlier.
